Vivek Pandey is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. He previously worked as a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in the same department, where he focused on designing cold plates and integrating them into the Sustainable Tropical Data Center Test Bed (STDCT). After completing his Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in 2021, Vivek served as a postdoctoral fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. There, he modeled metal hydride-based hydrogen storage reactors. During his doctoral research, he developed a comprehensive full-stack modeling tool to optimize the footprint and performance of printed circuit heat exchangers for an innovative supercritical CO2 (sCO2) test loop at the Indian Institute of Science.
