Pranav Kashide

Pranav Kashide is a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, and joined the NEIT Lab in 2026. His research interests focus on advanced thermal management solutions for next-generation power electronics and data center server modules, with an emphasis on two-phase direct-to-chip evaporative cooling.

Prior to his Ph.D., Pranav earned his M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he worked at the Energy Transport Research Laboratory on single-phase liquid cooling for data center server modules. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology. Outside of research, Pranav enjoys playing tennis.
