Latest paper “Materials and Interface Challenges in High Vapor Quality Two-Phase Flow Boiling Research”

Please check out our latest paper where we discuss recent research progress on structured surfaces for enhanced flow boiling. We discuss lessons learned and focus on remaining challenges. The content of our paper represents a summary from discussions at the Office of Naval Research Workshop on ‘Research Needs in High Quality Two-Phase Flow’ held in June 2020 with expert participants from industry, government, and academia. I co-authored this paper with Drs. Mark Spector (ONR) and Nenad Miljkovic (UIUC). The paper will be published in a Special Issue of IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology in memory of Professor Avram Bar-Cohen
